I love it! Let’s start a meme; clubs for every personality type! I think you pulled a very negative description of INTP, however! There’s got to be a more positive profile out there. lol I agree with you, very few people “do not like happy people” :p

Hey! I’m an INTP too! You don’t seem like it though in terms of introvertness. I found another page describing the INTP personality more…positively? http://www.personalitypage.com/INTP.html

The description provided above for INTP is more specifically for high-IQ INTPs IMO, but the fundamental attitude is the same throughout. And its not that INTPs don’t like happy people, it’s that the general personality of someone who is enthusiastically happy is usually pretty conflicting with INTP personality.

I’m also an INTP, at least last time I took this! I try to restrict my snobbery to music – ask my wife about this 🙂

You say you are 20% leaning towards introverted, my friend and I did the Myers-Briggs test and he got 78% introverted……….Can you explain to me what that means??

This is something that is widely misunderstood. Your ‘score’ doesn’t define your position on some scale of introversion/extraversion. There is no such scale: according to type theory you are one or the other so in a sense everyone is 100% I or 100% E.

Your ‘score’ reflects the clarity with which you’ve identified your preference. Someone who scores 60% may be rated by observers as no less introverted than someone who scores 90% even though he/she is obviously much less sure of the right label to wear.

That said, someone who scores 20% for introversion is very likely to be an extravert!

IF you are not social uncomfortable then you CANNOT be an INTP. Sorry. Also, if you never lose things, that doesn’t rule it out, but greatly reduces the chances.

The reason we hate “happy” people is because they are only “happy” when they ignore us. We only like True Happy people, people who are happy with us.

Sorry for the typo. Also, MBTI is basically bullshit. I am mostly an introvert but there are times when I am geniunely enjoying being an extrovert. MBTI: just another way to dumb the masses.

About

Welcome to my blog! I am an APOC student at the University of Southern California, and the truth is that this blog is part of my course requirement. However, I will do my best to make it as useful and informative as possible, and be more active on this blog than any of my other blogs...

I love tweaking with Wordpress layouts and web design in general, so maybe I will post some tips and links to resources and sites I like. I will try my best not to bring in too much from the anime and manga industry (and you know I am a big fan if you check out my anime list), though I am a believer that fan culture strives on the internet more than any other channel, and the study of fan culture is one of the topics that really fascinates me.

I also playes video games (like wow), loves to travel and I consider myself an ill-informed food snob. So enjoy your visit!
